About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate gantry, overhead, locomotive and tower cranes
- Utilize lifting tools including heads, chains and/or nylon rope slings
- Perform heavy lifts, blocking, and movement and lifting of heavy items
- Support shipbuilding operations for amphibious ships, destroyers and cutters for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience
- Must be familiar with operation of gantry, overhead, locomotive and tower cranes
- Familiarity with lifting tools, including heads, chains and/or nylon rope slings
- Familiarity with heavy lifts, blocking, and movement and lifting of heavy items
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must work multiple shifts
- No telework eligibility
