About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review field support requirements and recommend tools and test equipment
  • Establish calibration requirements for field systems and equipment, including maintenance tasks
  • Perform maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers
  • Review handbooks for technical adequacy
  • Assist in developing maintenance engineering and logistics support
  • Plan and contribute to proposal efforts
  • Review vendor furnished information and compare it to current PMS to determine shipboard maintenance requirements
  • Develop Preservation and Preventive Maintenance (P&PM) Work Booklets for Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III maintenance in the shipyard

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. Citizenship required for this position
  • High School diploma and 9 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or PhD and 0 years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the development of Calibration Measurement Summary Requirements for selected ship systems
  • Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), PMS, and HM&E
  • Experience reviewing vendor furnished information (VFI) and comparing it to current PMS
  • Basic understanding of ILS Functional Groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is nice to have
  • Able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC) is nice to have
