About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent the organizational unit on administrative matters
  • Recommend, interpret, and/or implement company and internal administrative policies and procedures
  • Perform a combination of administrative tasks in finance, human resources, purchasing, and research and development
  • Prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required
  • Oversee and manage employees on loan to the ET&D division supporting submarines and aircraft carriers
  • Collaborate with ET&D managers to ensure process compliance and education
  • Oversee competitive and non-competitive personnel transfers and coordinate with managers
  • Submit and manage Process Director invoices for subcontractor labor
  • Ensure the value of subcontractor work is accomplished
  • Submit and execute DD254s for contracted work
  • Partner with Accounting to resolve user and process errors
  • Produce monthly reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent pathways to meet the Bachelor's Degree minimum qualification include NNS Apprentice School graduation, Navy Nuclear Power School graduation, an Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program with 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience, or High School/GED with specified relevant experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Strong financial background and accurate accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding and forecasting
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, manage, and communicate data
  • Subject matter expertise in Excel
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand work environment
  • No clearance required to start
