About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performs set-up, layout, and research for non-destructive tests (NDT) on units, assemblies, panels/bulkheads, or components
- Works with the 81 Hull team at Ingalls Shipbuilding, building and maintaining naval ships and defense technology solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School and 6 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
- OR Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 4 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
- OR Bachelors degree or Apprentice graduate and 2 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
- Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
- U.S. Citizenship is not required for this position
