About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise, assign, coordinate and evaluate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel
  • Supervise and train employees to improve quality and quantity of work
  • Recommend training and assist in developing training procedures
  • Break broad strategies into practical action plans and ensure employees are trained to perform them
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements, drawings and procedures
  • Oversee manufacturing, installation, operation, testing and process operations with significant financial impact
  • Monitor job and budget performance for all shifts
  • Provide visibility of high- and medium-risk nuclear/radiological work across programs
  • Support nuclear skill needs through understanding of LRM
  • Engage in O67 training curriculum review and make recommendations
  • Monitor qualifications across programs to support current and upcoming work
  • Own nuclear freeze protection across the yard for X42 or refueling manning ramp-ups and demanning efforts for X43
  • Monitor nuclear tooling needs/gaps and clearance health across programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/Apprentice + 4 years production supervisor experience OR Non-BS/Non-Apprentice with 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience
  • Current or previous PRS/Contamination Worker Qualification/Experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Final clearance required to start
  • Previous Nuclear/Radiological experience preferred
  • Ability to work first shift
  • Ability to travel 10%-25% of the time
