Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze, audit, reconcile and resolve complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues
  • Ensure smooth payroll processing
  • Ensure payroll reporting and payments comply with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations
  • Research and interpret federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Resolve tax, withholding, garnishment, and wage/hour issues for payroll processing
  • Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries
  • Work with system programmers to achieve solutions when needed
  • Administer the company payroll system with an outside service provider when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Experience or qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree may include: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience; High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience; High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
  • No clearance required to start
