Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise, assign, coordinate, and evaluate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel
Supervise and train employees to improve quality and quantity of work
Recommend training to enhance employee skill and productivity
Assist in developing training procedures
Break broad strategies down into practical action plans
Ensure employees are trained to perform action plans
Ensure adherence to drawings, procedures, and other technical requirements
Oversee manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations with significant financial impact
Monitor job and budget performance for all shifts

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/Apprentice + 4 years production supervisor experience OR Non-BS/Non-Apprentice with 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience
U.S. Citizenship required
Knowledge of preventive maintenance of ship's equipment and/or X43 experience (nice to have)
Ability to supervise qualified trades staff
Ability to comply with technical aspects of the job, including drawings and procedures
