Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 1 year of exempt experience
  • One of the following may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree: NNS Apprentice School graduate; high school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience; graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
  • The following may be used as equivalent to the number of exempt years of experience required, in addition to the education requirement above: 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Thorough knowledge of X42 marine pipefitting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners and maintain good relationships with staff and students
  • Ability to plan, organize and instruct quality trades training
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
