Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 years of exempt experience
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
  • High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
  • Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience may be used as equivalent to the required exempt experience, in addition to the education requirement
  • Good oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with trainees, team members and Leadership
  • Welding experience, preferably TIG (pipe) and semi-auto processes
  • UT welding experience
  • Ability to lead people and manage day-to-day tasks with minimum oversight
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • U.S. citizenship required
