About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules
  • Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
  • Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability and potential production problems
  • Schedule equipment and personnel
  • Confirm material supply and demands
  • Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts based on the master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and traffic
  • Schedule and expedite movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years' experience, or Bachelor's Degree or above and 0 years' experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), material handling, or warehouse experience preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship is not required for this position
  • Must work first shift
  • Not eligible for telework
  • No travel required
