Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules
  • Coordinate material requirements to ensure controlled flow of approved materials timed to production requirements
  • Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems
  • Ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Schedule equipment and personnel
  • Confirm material supply and demands
  • Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic
  • Schedule and expedite movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and shipping-order requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years' experience, or Bachelor's Degree or above and 0 years' experience
  • Coordinate with material requirements and production schedules
  • Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems
  • Schedule equipment and personnel
  • Confirm material supply and demands
  • Prepare work orders or purchase requests
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity
  • Schedule and expedite movement of parts
  • U.S. Citizenship is not required for this position
  • Must work multiple shifts
  • No telework; not eligible for telework
