Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules
Coordinate material requirements to ensure approved materials flow in time to meet production requirements
Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability and potential production problems
Schedule equipment and personnel
Confirm material supply and demands
Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and traffic
Schedule and expedite movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers and shipping-order requests

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; or Master’s Degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree may include NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School graduate, Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program with relevant experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience, or High School/GED with specified relevant experience
Exposure to network scheduling techniques is highly preferred
U.S. Citizenship required
Must work on-site; not eligible for telework
No clearance required to start
