About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules
- Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
- Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability and potential production problems
- Ensure personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
- Schedule equipment and personnel
- Confirm material supply and demands
- Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts based on the master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and traffic
- Schedule and expedite movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers and shipping-order requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED and 10 years' experience; or Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience; or Master's Degree or above and 4 years' experience
- Open to all craft disciplines
- Ability to work in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States
- Full-time, first-shift position
- Not eligible for telework
- U.S. citizenship is not required for this position
