About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Interpret federal, state, and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices, and procedures
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints from company units, customers, and government regulatory agencies
  • Develop and implement programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies
  • Audit and evaluate policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations
  • Administer Purchasing System regulations to ensure compliance with federal, agency, and contract requirements
  • Conduct internal surveillance of the purchasing system
  • Participate in internal and external compliance audits
  • Respond to various inquiries
  • Ensure policies and general purchase order terms align with requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Equivalent pathways include NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience; High School/GED and specified relevant experience combinations
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with government contracting, including knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Experience with policy
  • Ability to multi-task in an agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail
