  • Monitor quality-control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities
  • Maintain supplier quality feedback loops
  • Administer certified supplier or receiving-inspection programs
  • Audit third-party manufacturers and support due diligence and vendor selection
  • Perform deviation investigations into quality issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Equivalent pathways include NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate, or Associate's Degree/formal 2-year program with relevant experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience may meet minimum qualifications
  • High School/GED with specified combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or relevant experience may meet minimum qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must reside in the Cleveland, Ohio area
  • Ability to travel 75%-100% of the time
  • Ability to review design specifications and standards
  • Experience conducting visual and dimensional inspections
  • Ability to verify material certifications and test reports
  • Ability to identify and document defects or nonconformities
  • Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and customer/government requirements
  • Ability to analyze corrective action reports and purchase orders
  • Ability to monitor supplier and subcontractor quality-control activities and systems
