About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and evolve AWS environments and associated servers
- Gradually structure the AWS environment, including accounts, networks, access permissions, and environment segregation
- Maintain and improve the infrastructure using Terraform
- Contribute to the consolidation and gradual migration of existing infrastructure to AWS
- Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM, least privilege, MFA, secrets management, and administrator access controls
- Maintain logging, monitoring, and security detection using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, or equivalent tools
- Secure Linux servers, network traffic, and connections with internal and partner environments
- Participate in the handling and analysis of infrastructure-related incidents
- Maintain backup and recovery mechanisms for critical systems
- Regularly verify recovery capabilities and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery exercises
- Document the technical procedures required for service recovery
- Maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and the controls associated with Infrastructure as Code
- Contribute to technical documentation and the evidence required for audits
- Apply security and compliance requirements, particularly DORA, GDPR / UK GDPR, and ISO 27001
- Work with security and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into concrete technical measures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in infrastructure, DevSecOps, or cloud security, with significant hands-on AWS experience in production environments
- Strong command of Linux and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, VPNs, and network segmentation
- Practical experience with Terraform and automation using Bash and/or Python
- Good understanding of IAM, cloud security, backup, monitoring, and incident management
- Experience in regulated environments, such as finance, DORA, NIS2, or ISO 27001, is a strong plus
- AWS Professional or Specialty certification is preferred
- Fluent French and professional English
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to document operational environments
