About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist management with evaluating delinquency percentages for the loan portfolio and maintenance fee account
Monitor team performance through audits, identify opportunities, and provide feedback using KPI reporting metrics
Lead quality assurance of collections staff for compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal law
Contact delinquent owners by telephone and mail to retrieve outstanding payments
Communicate company policies and procedures alongside collection tactics and practices
Assist collections staff with daily processes and procedures
Assist management with owner requests and complaints
Provide ongoing training and support for the collection team, including bi-annual FDCPA certification
Mentor and develop team members, coordinate team-building activities, recognize high performers, and resolve feedback or conflicts
Provide support for supervisors when they are out of office
Prepare periodic reports on team-specific tasks and goals
Perform collection functions as department workload determines
Assist with special projects as requested by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma/GED
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Word, Access and Excel
Must meet federal and state licensure requirements
Associate's Degree/College Diploma preferred
3–5 years of experience preferred
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Experience in 3rd party collections preferred
Experience in Timeshare/Vacation Ownership preferred
Solid understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act
Eligibility for applicable federal and state licensure requirements
