About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a new field sales channel in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, QLD region
  • Leverage an existing agricultural and local community network to generate new host opportunities
  • Connect Hipcamp with farmers, graziers, landowners, and other property owners
  • Identify relevant commercial camping opportunities, including independent caravan parks and established campgrounds
  • Meet landowners in person, generate leads, visit properties, and re-engage hard-to-reach prospects
  • Represent Hipcamp at local agricultural and community events
  • Build relationships with farmers, graziers, landowners, and outdoor businesses
  • Conduct in-person prospecting, property visits, and sales meetings
  • Attend farmers' markets, agricultural events, shows, field days, and community gatherings
  • Maintain the pipeline in the CRM and partner with the broader sales team
  • Share local market insights and identify growth opportunities for Hipcamp

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep familiarity with the local agricultural and farming community — essential
  • 1+ year of sales, business development, or relationship-building experience
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently
  • Persistent and comfortable with rejection
  • Valid driver licence
  • Reliable transport
  • Verifiable comprehensive car insurance
