Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Product and Ops to shape Host Camp strategy
  • Uncover growth opportunities and develop hypotheses
  • Make the analytical case for team priorities
  • Co-design experiments using model outputs and statistical thinking
  • Set up and iterate on tests to pressure-test conclusions
  • Maintain accessible visibility into the Camp's key performance metrics
  • Use AI to accelerate exploration, automate repetitive work, and prototype ideas
  • Partner with Data Engineering to build an AI-powered analytics platform
  • Create reusable workflows and self-service tools for trusted data and insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in product, growth, or marketing analytics or data science
  • Strong SQL and data visualization skills
  • Solid statistics knowledge
  • Ability to design and interpret experiments, reason about significance and causality, and distinguish signal from noise
  • Sufficient machine learning literacy to interpret model output, incorporate it into analysis, and co-design experiments
  • Storytelling and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Full-stack analytical working style: generate hypotheses, validate them pragmatically, and carry solutions through implementation
  • Fluency with AI and eagerness to integrate it into individual and team workflows
  • Ability to work independently and with a distributed, cross-functional team
  • Curiosity about the community Hipcamp serves
  • Passion for Hipcamp's mission
