About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Migrate the many business features of the desktop application to the web to streamline deployments, improve the user experience, and move toward SaaS
Strengthen the software development team, which consists of front-end web developers and C++ developers
Provide front-end web developers with easy-to-use REST API resources
Ensure the cybersecurity of REST APIs by verifying user privileges
Ensure the long-term functional reliability of APIs through automated testing
Develop integrations with third-party products, including video systems, key cabinets, elevators, mobile credentials, and intercom systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering degree
4 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in C++, ideally with Qt
Proficiency in SQL
Experience developing REST APIs is a plus
Strong interest in architecture, cybersecurity, and performance
Fluent English is required
Knowledge of Windows
Knowledge of Qt (C++)
Experience with Git/GitLab (pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, etc.)
Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
Knowledge of Docker
Knowledge of Office 365/Teams
Rigorous and methodical approach
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Enjoys teamwork and taking on challenges
Ability to translate customer feedback into operational solutions
