About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft-based applications
- Lead complex coding, troubleshooting, performance tuning, database optimization, and solution implementation
- Provide L2/L3 production support and technical guidance for business-critical applications
- Own high-priority incident investigation, service restoration, root-cause analysis, stakeholder updates, and preventive actions
- Assess and fulfil complex service requests with technical accuracy and timely closure
- Manage change requests, including solution design, estimation, impact analysis, development, testing, deployment, and validation
- Drive problem requests by analyzing trends, identifying root causes, maintaining known errors, and implementing permanent solutions
- Conduct code and design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering, security, and support standards
- Mentor developers, support knowledge sharing, and improve team capability and technical quality
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, business, infrastructure, QA, operations, security, and vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–9 years of experience in application development, maintenance, and support
- Hands-on experience in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies
- Experience with SharePoint Online/Server
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET, and ASP
- Experience with SQL Server and SQL
- Knowledge of architecture, performance tuning, and security
- Experience with L2/L3 support
- Knowledge of incident, service request, change request, problem request, release, RCA, SLA, and governance processes
- Technical mentoring, estimation, code review, stakeholder management, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement skills
- Life Insurance domain knowledge is preferred
