About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems
- Perform regular regression testing
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or similar technologies
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application deployment and operation in cloud environments
- Monitor application performance, availability, and logs
- Share knowledge, best practices, and testing know-how
- Mentor and support less experienced team members
- Contribute to a strong quality culture and bug-prevention, fail-fast mindset
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience working with multi-tier web-based applications
- Experience with software testing in Agile development environments at scale
- Previous experience working in multi-team environments and close collaboration with developers, project managers, and clients
- Hands-on experience with test automation, particularly the Playwright framework
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development)
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience in performance, security, or usability testing; accessibility testing and WCAG standards; or complex backend applications and enterprise system architecture
- ISTQB certification is nice to have
