About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels
- Monitor and provide guidance to teams during data modeling activities
- Evaluate data models developed by development teams
- Support the identification and use of corporate and shared information
- Promote understanding of the concepts of the entities represented in data models
- Keep data model and metadata repositories up to date
- Propose improvements and changes to the enterprise data architecture
- Conduct impact analyses of proposed changes to corporate and shared data models
- Prepare technical reports and opinions on the use of metadata at the conceptual and logical levels
- Support activities related to data quality and master and reference data management
- Contribute to the development of corporate vocabularies and glossaries, data management and governance methodologies, and other documents related to data management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor's degree in Technology or a field related to the professional role
- Graduate degree in IT; or, if no graduate degree is held, knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Experience with enterprise data architecture and metadata management
- Hands-on experience with impact analysis and data model evaluation
- Experience with data quality, master data management, and reference data management
- Experience with data management and governance
