About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, maintain, and evolve infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform
Administer and enhance CI/CD pipelines for applications, data, and infrastructure
Automate provisioning, deployment, observability, and environment management processes
Support the operation of containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
Implement and monitor DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, access control, vulnerability analysis, and security policies
Manage authentication and authorization using Authentik or equivalent tools
Support data pipelines using dbt and Prefect, including scheduling, orchestration, monitoring, and failure handling
Manage GCP resources and services, including IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, and Secret Manager
Analyze logs, identify failures, and support environment operations
Create technical documentation and support teams in using environments and delivery processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Completed postgraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or two valid certifications in the area
At least 6 years of professional experience in activities related to the relevant technical specialization
Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, SRE, or in a similar role
Hands-on experience with GCP
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with CI/CD using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or a similar tool
Experience with Docker and knowledge of Kubernetes
Knowledge of Git and branching strategies
Knowledge of cloud security practices, IAM, secrets management, and the principle of least privilege
Familiarity with dbt and Prefect in data environments
Knowledge of relational databases and/or BigQuery
Preferred qualifications: experience with Keycloak or similar identity management solutions; knowledge of observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or Cloud Monitoring; experience with Helm, Argo CD, or GitOps; GCP certifications; experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization; knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation
