About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee, schedule, manage, and prioritize daily production issues in the assigned plant area
- Lead the production team to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations
- Promote a team environment
- Maintain adherence to safety guidelines
- Understand and enforce HL Mando attendance, safety, quality, and other policies
- Enforce, maintain, and foster quality policies and procedures
- Comply with work standards and Team Leader daily standard work
- Verify tool change dimensions for CNC technicians and operators
- Maintain and drive process checks and verification
- Maintain and drive 5S expectations
- Foster continuous improvement within the team
- Complete end-of-shift scrap reports daily for all Housing lines
- Maintain training records
- Train CNC technicians and operators
- Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, and OEE
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year warehouse experience required
- Forklift operation experience strongly preferred
- Computer skills
- Typing skills

- Innovation and creativity
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform hard gage checks and adjust machines (fixtures, programs)
- Ability to perform tool changes on all assigned lines, including Broach changes
- General understanding of tool setting procedures
- Ability to identify bad parts by visual inspection and perform corrections
- Proper working knowledge of MEPS system (downtime, Ekanban, inventory management, etc.)
- Must know all carrier parts and part numbers machined in CBS
- Must know where each carrier part is capable of being machined
- Troubleshooting and repairing ability for in-storage and out-storage
- Troubleshooting ability for coolant tanks to minimize FTT issues
- Ability to troubleshoot machine and automation alarms
- Familiarity with all tool changes in all assigned lines
- Ability to perform changeover from one carrier model to another
- Ability to train CNC techs and operators
