About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and collect raw data; organize, analyze, and review data for projects and further analysis
- Perform project analysis using technical guidance and software
- Assist project team members with maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting
- Research planning issues, policies, and concepts
- Assist in developing conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation planning projects
- Prepare and produce plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects
- Assist in stakeholder and public participation processes
- Maintain project records, collections, and files
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Serve airport owners and airline clients across landside, terminal, airside, airspace, environmental, land use, and financial/advisory analyses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field
- Strong aptitude in analyzing data, creating supporting visualizations, and developing clear written reports and presentations for a broad range of audiences
- Motivation to ask questions, flag challenges, and anticipate solutions
- Enthusiasm for solving aviation-themed challenges
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong preference for competency with AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Revit, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Python, or R
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
