About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications
- Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team
- Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to projects of varying size and complexity
- Assist with project design execution and evaluation
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software
- Complete assigned work within the schedule and allocated hours
- Prepare or modify portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
- Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates
- Support organization and administration of design files
- Conduct research, data collection, field investigations, development, and project design
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in MicroStation or other software as required for job assignments
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
