About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with inspection of highway bridges throughout Pennsylvania
- Create and modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
- Perform load rating analyses
- Conduct field investigations and collect data
- Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates
- Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files
- Assist with engineering design or drafting tasks
- Complete assigned work within schedules and allocated hours
- Contribute to project delivery for HNTB clients
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience
- Completed NHI Bridge Inspection Course (130055)
- Experience with inspecting highway bridges
- Proficiency applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other required software
- Ability to work at field sites primarily in central Pennsylvania and anywhere within Pennsylvania as needed
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
