About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications
- Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team
- Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to projects of varying size and complexity
- Assist with project design execution and evaluation using technical knowledge
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours
- Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
- Assist with project quantity and cost estimates
- Support organization and administration of engineering design files
- Assist with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other software
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Master's degree in Engineering preferred
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
- Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred
