About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with office leadership on strategic planning, operating budgets, quarterly updates, and strategic initiatives
Monitor monthly results, conduct financial analysis, and recommend performance improvements
Initiate or support solutions, profitability enhancements, and process improvements to meet office goals
Coordinate reporting of performance variances to contribution, earnings, and cash
Organize and lead the project finance team; recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and retain staff
Lead career planning and development, including goal setting, coaching, performance evaluation, and compensation review
Lead office month-end reporting and revenue recognition activities
Maintain financial data integrity through quality assurance and cost control
Oversee project backlog, reserve reviews, reporting, and revenue projections
Provide financial management guidance on contracting, cash management, subcontract management, change management, cost management, and financial controls
Support pursuit processes, contract reviews and negotiations, cash management, profitability analysis, forecasting, and overhead expense management
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of financial, project accounting/analysis, or related experience
2 years of project and/or people management/mentoring experience
1 to 7 direct and indirect line finance reports; Administration positions are excluded
In lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience and 2 years of people management experience
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in relevant Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
