About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create digital and print assets for PR and internal communications, proposals and presentations supporting transportation pursuits, client presentations, strategic initiatives, and marketing communications across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee
Create visual style guides, project landing pages, digital brochures, event promotional graphics, social media assets, 2D and 3D graphics and renderings, illustrations, icons, photography, stock graphics, and advertisements
Create print and digital proposal materials, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers, and layouts
Create print and digital presentation materials, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards
Create PR and internal communications materials, including brochures, ads, and announcements
Brainstorm ideas and create concepts for visually communicating key messages
Maintain and organize digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics
Coordinate with print vendors and photographers
Review and approve final graphics when applicable
Participate in presentation rehearsals
Assist in creating and presenting team training
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
Proficiency using InDesign and other graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficiency converting substantial amounts of data or information into visual illustrations
Ability to creatively translate information into visual solutions
Proficiency developing PowerPoint or Keynote presentation templates
Understanding of typography, including line lengths, tracking, and leading for legibility
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field preferred
A/E experience preferred
Presentation design experience preferred
