About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in all phases of project development
Provide full technical support for architecture and incorporate all design disciplines
Serve as a resource to the designer and project manager during design development
Serve as lead technical architect on medium to large-sized projects
Develop and present the lead technical viewpoint on assigned projects
Ensure technical solutions consistent with the program and design are developed and produced
Plan and implement work processes with the project designer and manager
Develop and implement internal controls for project team members
Monitor and supervise development of contract documents
Promote BIM and design technology standards, best practices, and project team workflows
Coordinate with sub-consultants on quality assurance and quality control checks
Review and supervise less experienced architects
Plan and schedule project work
Act in a team lead capacity in the manager's absence
Serve as subject matter expert on medium to large-sized architectural projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 8 years of relevant experience
RA
Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
Skills in computational design or other emerging technologies
Demonstrated technical ability and leadership skills
Clear communication skills, including presentation skills
Patience and ability to mentor and develop others
Proficiency in project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, IPD, etc.)
Knowledge of architectural products and systems
Knowledge of building codes
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, cloud file sharing/collaboration, complex 3D modeling, and visualization
Knowledge of current accessibility and sustainability codes and standards
