About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage assigned transportation project(s) throughout their full lifecycle
- Develop project scopes, fee quotations, technical proposals, procurement documents, and contracts
- Lead client liaison, contract scoping, negotiations, and project-team delivery
- Manage project budgets, schedules, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications
- Perform technical engineering tasks including analysis, reports, design, specifications, and production
- Implement project delivery plans and lead project management plans
- Supervise and mentor project teams and oversee project staffing
- Support business development, client relationships, pursuit efforts, proposals, and interview presentations
- Serve as lead technical engineer and trusted advisor on complex projects
- Identify and communicate industry best practices, trends, and risks
- Represent the firm on industry advisory committees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 12 years of relevant experience
- 4 years of successful management of engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Familiarity with InRoads/OpenRoads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred
