About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide toll technology and policy planning, implementation, and operations oversight
- Advise toll clients and HNTB local offices throughout the toll revenue collection system and operations life cycle
- Manage processes from concept of operations through system and services procurement and subsequent operations
- Provide senior-level leadership and consultation as a toll technology subject matter expert
- Direct toll technology practice activities and major projects
- Lead major project tasks and serve as project manager
- Provide leadership to staff supporting tasks or projects
- Direct and monitor delivery of toll technology services for HNTB projects and programs
- Develop project scopes, fee quotations, technical proposals, and contracts
- Serve as primary client liaison and manage project teams to deliver scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction
- Perform toll planning, design, implementation, and operations tasks
- Develop and execute project management plans and supervise and mentor project teams
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control practices
- Support business development, client relationship building, and pursuit efforts
- Prepare proposal and presentation materials and lead presentations
- Communicate directly with clients and assist with client audits
- Lead or support feasibility studies, assessments, concept of operations documents, and procurement documents
- Recruit, hire, mentor, develop, and retain staff as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Accounting/Finance, Planning, Business or related field and 12 years related experience, or 16 years related experience in lieu of education
- 10 years of experience in tolling, toll technology, or a related field preferred
- MS in Technology Management, IT, or related field preferred
