About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and monitor cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to implement robust security measures
- Develop automation scripts for efficient cloud resource management
- Provide technical guidance on complex Azure infrastructure issues
- Stay current with Azure services and assess their relevance to the business
- Document and maintain cloud architectures and configurations
- Manage backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the team
- Conduct system installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Help define technical standards and support protocols
- Assist the IT Service Desk with hardware, software, and networking issues
- Take ownership of assigned technical projects
- Support mobile device management and app deployment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Experience with Intune deployment
- 3+ years working in Azure cloud environments, ideally within professional services
- Strong grasp of cloud computing and emerging tech trends
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Meraki Wireless and switching
- Experience with Sophos XG Firewalls
- Experience with Sophos Endpoint Protection
- Experience with Mimecast
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
