About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Keep clients safe and secure in their own homes
- Build trusted relationships and share meaningful moments with clients
- Encourage client independence and wellbeing
- Support personal care routines with dignity and kindness
- Assist with medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Receive briefing and formal introduction with an experienced team member when meeting clients for the first time
- Support adults and older adults to live independently, safely, and comfortably at home
Requirements
What you’ll need- No prior care experience required
- Kind-hearted, compassionate, and motivated to help others
- Flexible availability; full-time or part-time hours available
- Ideally a car driver; alternative transport methods considered
- Based in or near Skelmersdale, Up Holland, Rainford, Parbold, or surrounding villages
- Right to work in the UK required
- Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references required
- Care Certificate qualification can be fully funded by the employer
