About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide non-medical care and companionship to older people in their own homes
Assist clients with getting out of bed, dressing, washing, bathing, and showering
Prepare meals and drinks
Prompt or administer medication
Perform light housework and tidying
Accompany clients to shops, appointments, and community activities
Support clients’ hobbies and social connections
Promote clients’ comfort, safety, independence, health, and wellbeing
Build trusted relationships through personalized support and companionship

High degree of flexibility to meet clients’ needs
This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure
Must be able to meet clients’ needs during the 15:45–22:30 work pattern (call times may vary)
