About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Dallas residential projects from lot acquisition through vertical construction start
- Manage a portfolio of 20–40 projects simultaneously
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Dallas-area projects
- Shepherd projects through due diligence, consultant coordination, and permitting
- Build and manage project schedules using Homebound’s technology platform
- Identify dependencies, anticipate municipal approval bottlenecks, and find schedule-compression opportunities
- Manage relationships with the City of Dallas, suburban building departments, and Master-Planned Community HOAs/Architectural Review Committees
- Coordinate with Architecture, Design, Procurement, and local Field teams
- Ensure lot-specific plans are optimized for site conditions, local zoning, and cost efficiency
- Deliver comprehensive ready-to-start project packages to the Construction team for vertical construction mobilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2–4 years in Residential Construction Project Management, Architecture, or Project Development
- Experience in production homebuilding or high-volume urban infill highly preferred
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
- Ability to comprehend civil engineering plans
- Ability to navigate complex zoning requirements
- Direct experience with North Texas permitting processes
- Familiarity with DFW-area trade partners and consultants
- Comfortable using and improving proprietary project management software
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Must be within a commutable distance of Dallas for the hybrid role
- Must address potential United States employment visa sponsorship requirements
