About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support daily operations within assigned markets, partnering with operational and clinical leaders to align staff activity metrics with organizational goals
- Act as the primary contact with Honest partners, fostering collaborative relationships and resolving operational issues
- Implement best practices across markets to ensure consistency and efficiency, and develop strategies to scale operations
- Drive partner, practice, and provider performance through meetings with partner leadership, facilities, medical practices, and providers
- Review key performance indicators with market teams and partners, identify improvement areas, and drive accountability
- Own day-to-day relationships with partners, practices, and providers
- Resolve operational challenges using data and insights to enhance market performance
- Collaborate with senior leadership and joint venture partners on strategic projects
- Partner with market clinical leadership and cross-functional teammates to achieve desired patient outcomes
- Lead meetings, summarize next steps, assign responsibilities, project-manage takeaways, and present results
- Support network initiatives to optimize access for attributed patients
- Work with Finance to produce targeted financial analyses
- Build and manage project plans and processes with goals and timelines
- Build and evolve playbooks and toolkits
- Promote Honest Health within the local market
- Oversee the practice engagement function and develop practice-level performance recommendations
- Foster accountability and continuous improvement across the organization and team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field is highly preferred; MBA or MHA is also preferred
- 4+ years of healthcare operations or consulting experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations or consulting, with a focus on value-based care or provider enablement
- Experience working directly with medical institutions, practices, and providers preferred
- Physically located in Albuquerque, NM or willingness to travel to and around the assigned market as often as needed
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with experience managing partnerships with medical groups or healthcare organizations
- Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling operations in a multi-site or multi-market environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Firm understanding of care delivery processes, including both front-office and back-office operations
- Thorough appreciation for facility, institution, and service-based operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of health plan administration and medical management services
- Experience with government programs (Medicaid, Medicare, and Dual Eligibles) and understanding of associated regulatory environments
- Advanced in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience manipulating published reports to synthesize and/or illustrate actionable data
- Passion for and experience in clinical care delivery operations
- Ability to identify needs and think through clinical and operational process improvements
