About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Field Service Engineers, Overhaul Support Engineers, ISC teams, D&S Sales, the product line General Manager, and US Government customers
  • Support the US Army's TIGER program for the AGT1500 turboshaft engine and its engineering upgrades

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 4 years or more experience in Project Engineering or related roles involving management of complex engineering projects, with a strong focus on execution and delivery
  • Proven track record of successfully executing engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment across functions
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Proven experience with Earned Value Management planning, execution, and reporting
  • Proven experience with testing ground combat vehicles
  • Proven experience producing test plans to ensure acquisition of data
  • Strong familiarity with gas turbine engines, including mechanical and electrical sub-systems
  • Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or able to obtain export authorization
