About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop advanced integrity monitoring algorithms and models for safety-critical navigation applications
  • Support the next generation of autonomous and resilient aircraft systems
  • Design, execute, and analyze scientific experiments, simulations, and field tests focused on GNSS, inertial navigation, and integrated navigation solutions
  • Conduct work in laboratory and real-world environments
  • Collaborate with internal experts, research institutions, and industry partners
  • Drive innovation, share knowledge, and advance navigation technologies
  • Evaluate emerging GNSS and navigation technologies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and future product development
  • Report directly to the Research & Development Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Strong knowledge of navigation systems, GNSS/INS integration, integrity monitoring, and estimation algorithms
  • Proficiency in MATLAB
  • Experience with Simulink, Python, and C/C++ is highly desirable
  • Experience across the full prototype and software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, experimental validation, data analysis, and optimization
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with real-time embedded software development
  • Excellent English communication and technical writing skills
  • Commercial airborne standards is a plus
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Passion for aerospace and innovation
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Applicants must have EU citizenship due to export restrictions
