About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead system requirements development and decomposition

  • Work with the Integrated Systems team to design, develop, and integrate complex systems
  • Report to the Senior Engineering Manager
  • Travel up to 10% may be expected

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or project leadership in Avionics, Flight Management, or Flight Guidance
  • 3+ years of experience with systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience with advanced systems engineering technologies
  • Strong avionics and lifecycle knowledge
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • U.S. Person status required: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • MBSE experience
  • Experience leading complex system integration projects
  • Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS NG and Atlassian tools
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Strong understanding of DO-178B/C, DO-254, and ARP-4754
  • Verification test plan experience
  • ARINC 429 and signal debug capability
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and software development skills
  • Familiarity with model-based system design using Simulink
  • Familiarity with ARINC 661 graphics development using SCADE
  • Experience creating software test cases from system and software requirements use cases
  • Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, DOORS NG, and Confluence
