About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and integration of aerospace electro-mechanical actuation systems
- Assist with system requirements, documentation, and verification activities
- Develop models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and related tools
- Perform engineering analyses to evaluate system performance and functionality
- Support integration of motors, sensors, controllers, and embedded systems
- Participate in laboratory, HIL, environmental, and qualification testing
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development and testing
- Contribute across the product development lifecycle, from concept studies and system architecture through modeling, integration, qualification testing, production support, and product sustainment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 0-2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, research, or academic project experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering processes, product development, or aerospace systems
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or the ability to obtain an export authorization
