About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead teams of production planners in managing the master production schedule (MPS)
  • Monitor MPS load and attainment and improve plans to ensure executable production plans across assigned manufacturing sites
  • Implement, sustain and enhance planner standard work procedures
  • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Product Health teams and Planning leaders to execute production plans
  • Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present risks and discuss mitigation plans with functional and business leadership
  • Build a world-class team through adoption of advanced planning tools such as RapidResponse and AI Agents
  • Deliver year-over-year improvement in performance initiative KPIs
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity and material availability issues
  • Review, monitor and adjust planning parameters and material master data to meet site requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 10 years of Supply Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, Materials Management or another Operations Planning-related functional area
  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain leadership within a manufacturing environment; defense and aerospace preferred
  • At least 3 years of planning experience in SAP ERP system
  • Experience in Planning, Materials Management, Operations or SIOP
  • Experience in Kinaxis RapidResponse or Maestro highly recommended
  • APICS or CPIM Certification
  • Strong problem-solving skills and advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Expertise in leading/driving change and mentoring new leaders or peers
  • Expertise across professional disciplines within the material management function
  • Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
