About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently design and test analog and digital circuits and systems
  • Execute project subtasks using established engineering methodologies for new hardware development
  • Perform simulations and data analysis
  • Define test procedures and review results for compliance with requirements
  • Report status to senior technical staff and direct management
  • Assemble and present material for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews
  • Drive new product development to schedule and budget
  • Support factory RCCA activity
  • Own analog designs from concept through verification and product release
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams across the product lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 4+ years of related engineering experience with analog circuits and systems
  • Hands-on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers
  • Demonstrated experience with analog circuitry and precision electronics
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the design and testing of precision accelerometers
  • Good understanding of fundamental physics
  • Experience with performing worst-case analysis
  • Experience with Matlab, Mathcad, Simulink, and Spice design tools
  • Experience with Arduino programming and data collection
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma Methods
  • Proficiency in Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
