Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 1 or more years of experience in embedded software engineering using C/C++ (structured and object-oriented) and assembly
  • 1 or more years of experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance due to compliance with U.S. export control and regulations
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individual with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles
  • Ability to develop efficient, high-quality embedded real-time software and architecture
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices, including Git/Bitbucket and Jira
  • Experience developing software in certified or regulated safety environments, such as DO-178 and MIL-STD 883
  • Experience with scalable architectures, low-level I/O drivers, and integration activities on ARM or FPGA SoCs
  • Proficiency in Deos, RTOS, Linux, or another RTOS
  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN and A429
  • Experience with network protocols such as A664
  • Experience developing multithreaded and rate-task architectures
  • Six Sigma or Lean development methodology knowledge
