About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support for hardware planning and tracking for NPI programs
  • Resolve SAP issues and maintain status information
  • Support project planning and scheduling
  • Act as liaison between engineering groups
  • Communicate requirements and risks to stakeholders
  • Create and maintain hardware tracking, including schedule and cost reporting
  • Champion consistent processes within the procurement cycle
  • Perform administrative, project management, communication, and knowledge management tasks
  • Support the hardware procurement lifecycle for the Engines and Power Systems organization
  • Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • U.S. person status required: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical communication, or related discipline (valued, not required)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification (desired)
  • Skilled in Project Management
  • Experience using SAP
  • Knowledge of United States Aerospace Procurement
  • Good understanding of standard process
  • Some technical experience
  • Travel within the U.S. and/or internationally may be required, up to 10%
