About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Verification and validation of real-time embedded control aviation software
  • Verification and validation, including testing and documentation of software in accordance with DO-178 guidelines
  • Develop tests, tools, and environments to aid in software testing
  • Provide regular status reporting to management as required by projects and leadership
  • Develop X-Domain experience within software V&V and drive innovation in tools and processes
  • Support V&V CoE strategies, innovations, and tool-development deployments across programs
  • Support the software development team as required by projects
  • Perform assignments as directed by the primary managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4th or final-year Engineering Master's student
  • Bachelor´s degree in engineering or related field
  • Good knowledge of Python or other Windows/Unix scripting languages
  • Strong command of English, with excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Reliable team player with high ethical standards and a collaborative mindset
  • EU citizenship required due to export restrictions
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming
  • Familiarity with aerospace software standards, particularly DO-178
