About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up, integrate, and maintain lab hardware and software, including simulators, workstations, and displays
- Optimize how existing demonstrations are run by automating manual steps and streamlining startup, aiming for one-click execution
- Develop scripts and tools that make lab systems reliable and simple to use
- Organize and prepare data into structured datasets for testing and validation
- Support test and evaluation campaigns and document the results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently studying computer science, software engineering, cybernetics, electrical or aerospace engineering, or a related field
- Scripting or programming experience, for example Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Comfort setting up and troubleshooting PC hardware
- A structured, detail-oriented approach to working with data
- A proactive and innovative approach to work, with a positive, hands-on attitude
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience with Git
- Experience with simulation software
- Ability to write clear technical documentation or user guides
- Interest in the aerospace industry or drones
- A drone pilot license, or willingness to obtain one (we can arrange it)
