About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform stress analysis using complex finite element and classical book calculation methods
- Support testing

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing structural analysis on gas turbine engines
- Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods
- Practical knowledge of ANSYS finite element analysis software
- Significant experience with new product development in a highly regulated environment
- Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems
- Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization
- Track record of successful contribution to products and projects
- Keen mindset to envision process improvements and execute such initiatives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
